Updated September 18, 2020

Wilson Blanchard is continuing to closely monitor the Coronavirus outbreak. As is always the case, the health and safety of all parties associated with the properties that we manage is a top priority. We will continue to monitor the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) website, as well as Provincial and Municipal websites and communications with respect to developments regarding the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19).

Sources of Information

Wilson Blanchard urges you to stay informed by referring to information from legitimate authorities such as Federal, Provincial and Municipal public health organizations as the situation continues to rapidly change. Social media websites and media news reports do not always provide the best or latest information.

Precautionary Measures

If you feel unwell or have symptoms associated with Covid-19, please follow the opens in a new windowOntario Ministry of Health directions.

Those who suspect they may be infected or have been diagnosed with Covid-19 are asked to self-quarantine and avoid using common areas during the quarantine period.

Building staff, including contracted cleaning companies, are trained in proper cleaning & disinfecting protocols and will continue to ensure that common areas are kept clean and disinfected with industry appropriate products.

It is important to acknowledge however that due to limited resources it is not practical or possible to disinfect commonly touched surfaces such as door handles after each use. Please ensure you wash your hands thoroughly after you have traveled through common areas.

Please ensure you are following steps to protect yourself from the Coronavirus, including:

  • Wash your hands thoroughly and often with soap or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap is not available;
  • Avoid touching your face;
  • Avoid close contact with people who are ill;
  • Stay home when you are ill;
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then immediately throw the tissue in the garbage and wash your hands;
  • If you don’t have a tissue, sneeze or cough into your sleeve or arm;
  • Pay close attention to travel advisories;
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces in your home

If you have any questions or concerns about your health, please contact your health care provider.
